This year's trip to the Serpentine River is filling up fast!

Newfoundland’s Serpentine River was one of Lee Wulff’s favourite. This famous sportsman made camp on its shores and fished for salmon in its many pools. You’ll do the same. Flowing through Newfoundland’s highest mountains, it is one of the most remote rivers on the rock. Daily walks up river require good physical fitness. On your return to the cabins overlooking the pristine waters of the Bay of Islands, you will be offered a guided hike to one of the coast’s spectacular lookouts.

What it comes down to is this: if you need something and we don't have it (which doesn't happen that often) we'll do our best to get it. Guiding Program

We have a friendly team of guides at the ready for walk & wade and drift boat trips. If you have never experienced a drift boat it is one of the most relaxing days of fishing that you can imagine. The guide does the work and you spend the day taking in the scenery. Book a drift boat trip with us on the Saugeen, Nottawasaga, Grand and Maitland Rivers. A drift boat for 2 people is only $450 and our walk and wade trips start at $250 for the day.

Friendly Advice

Be prepared for a different attitude at Wilson's. Fly fishing is supposed to be fun - at least in our fly shops! If you have a question, call us and not only will we be happy to help, we will make you feel welcome and comfortable asking any question.

We often hear people say "I'm not a fly fisher because I've only been flyfishing for "x" years...". What's with that? We don't care where you fish, what you fish for or how big your last fish was. At Wilson's everyone who enjoys the sport is a "fly fisher" - not just the so-called "experts".

Conservation

Wilson's is pleased to be involved with Trout Unlimited Canada (TUC) and other like-minded organizations in helping to preserve and enhance the Credit River through WeCARE - the West Credit Appreciation, Rehabilitation & Enhancement Project. We are also helping to create new fly fishing destinations in Ontario by assisting local clubs with fund raising.

Our Pricing Policy

Wilson's wants to earn the right to be your fly shop and that begins with having the best possible price. Accordingly, if you find the same product at a lower regular landed price at any other legitimate fly fishing retailer we will give you a store credit for the difference plus 10%. It doesn't get any better than this!
